Course Summary

Students will review and improve on their proper keyboarding skills introduced in previous years. Students will improve their writing skills using Word/Pages. They will expand their experience with Excel/Numbers by using data spreadsheets to create charts and graphs. They will be introduced to different kinds of multimedia tools and techniques to incorporate into their classroom assignments. Students will develop more advanced use of Microsoft Office and iWork applications within their projects. Students will create videos using iMove with audio from Garageband. Students will continue to improve on their Internet search techniques to effectively analyze resources, and creatively apply content to their assignments. Throughout the class students will learn various file management techniques to help them stay organized as well as how to use the Internet safely and effectively.

Students primary location for accessing and turning in assignments will be located within their Canvas account.
